Metamorphoses, a photographic trip made from a unique place: an abandoned rainwater recovery pond. The photographer focuses on the reflection of the subject in this black water, cloudy, that the breeze makes vibrate. This strange, mysterious, distorted reflection gives the image a pictorial aspect and a particular beauty that is not without evoking cubist destructuring or some subjects dear to the Impressionists.
Anton F is a photographer whose work is strongly influenced by painting. Born in 1970 and self-taught, the artist has a universe imbued with poetry. Anton is like a water diviner who uncovers the beauty of everyday life with his camera, brings out the magic of a mundane setting, a strret, a cloud, a figure. He is flirting with abstraction without stepping out of reality. Since 2014, he’s working with Galerie de l’Europe, rue de Seine in Paris, and Alidem in Milano.
